The Japanese–German Graduate Externship (JGGE) on Energy Conversion Systems is an education and research program that aims to help you realize your future self. To participate in this program, you must be enrolled in a doctoral course at the Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya Institute of Technology.

Doctor’s program

Please confirm the application guidelines, obtain the consent of the faculty member who wishes to provide guidance in advance (see application guidelines), and submit the prescribed documents to the Graduate School Section of the Academic Affairs Division within the application period.

(Application period: From  February 10, 2023 to February 17, 2023)

JGGE students receive a financial assistance as salary, and research abroad expenses such as travel expenses, accommodation fee will be supported.

JGGE students who successfully complete the program receive a doctoral degree from NITech with a certificate stating that joint research supervision was conducted by Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU).
