Lecture outline and schedule 2023.6

In this seminar, faculty members from Nagoya Institute of Technology and University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) provide students with lectures about four specialized elements “Synthesis, Evaluation, Simulation, and Devices” in English.

Special Seminars for JGGE

2023

● “Nanostructured surfaces” was held

● “Materials and devices for opto-electric and energy technologies” was held

● “Introduction to lead-free perovskite ferroelectrics for electro-mechanical systems” was held

For four days from June 12th to 15th, Professor Webber of FAU, Professor Kakimoto, and Assistant Professor Martin led an intensive course on the lecture “Specialization in Energy System B: Introduction to lead-free perovskite ferroelectrics for electro-mechanical systems”
Students became familiar with Western-style lectures, such as Q&A sessions, and also students raised their hands at any time during the lecture. After that, we had an hour-long workshop with lunch to improve discussion skills further. Next, for four days from June 19th to 22 nd , Prof. Kakimoto and Assistant Professor Martin visited FAU to offer similar lectures.

2022

● “Advanced structural characterization techniques” was held

● “Crystal growth and material processing – experimental and numerical approaches” was held
